Social Services: Call to Action"

On January 18, 2023, Sheriff Scheffler had the honor of speaking at the "

program hosted by Stockton University. The topic of discussion was the AC Project, a proposed project to make Atlantic City a healthier and safer community. This project would include a seven day per week outreach program to connect individuals from the city to necessary treatment for mental health and addiction issues, which would be supported by a coalition of social service partners. The Sheriff greatly appreciates the partnership and leadership in this project of Prosecutor Will Reynolds, Senator Vince Polistina, and Stockton University president Dr. Harvey Kesselman.
